Sydney joined Lifetime Animal Center in March of 2025 as the Weekend Kennel Technician and now works as the PM Kennel Tech. Growing up on a farm surrounded by animals, she developed a strong connection to their care and has always admired the compassion and skill of veterinary professionals. Sydney is currently pursuing a degree in Digital Media Production at the University of Missouri, with the goal of using storytelling to share meaningful voices and experiences. In May of 2025, she earned her Associate’s degree from Ozarks Technical Community College along with a Certificate in American Sign Language. At home, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Cash, and her two cats, Theo and Vash.

Sydney is the PM Kennel Technician who joined the clinic in 2025, bringing her passion for animal care developed on a farm, and is currently pursuing a degree in Digital Media Production at Mizzou while enjoying time at home with her dog, Cash, and her two cats.

Starting as a kennel technician in 2024, Carris was promoted to Veterinary Assistant and plans to pursue a degree in Large Animal Science at Penn Foster to become a technician specializing in large animal care, while also running a dog-sitting business and caring for her two rabbits, Dug and Bug.

Starting in 2019 as a kennel technician and now working tirelessly as a Veterinary Assistant who loves monitoring surgeries and running diagnostics, Katie has a huge passion for rescuing and rehabilitating animals and shares her home with her husband and ten pets (three dogs, four cats, a snake, a gecko, and two rabbits).

Starting as a volunteer in 2021, Payton quickly progressed from Kennel Technician to Veterinary Assistant, is currently pursuing her veterinary technician degree at Penn Foster, and loves riding horses and taking her two dogs to the park with her husband, Cameron.
